ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.02.2026.

¶2The case of the petitioner is that an online application was submitted on 14.02.2026, seeking a survey of the land and the issuance of a patta in the petitioner's name, in respect of the property comprised in Survey No. 136 (part) and 3A, measuring an extent of 0-06.50 Ares, situated at No. 02, Melkaramanu Village, Uthukottai Taluk, Thiruvallur District, within the registration jurisdiction of the Kancheepuram Registration District. Since the respondents have failed to consider the said application till date, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition seeking appropriate relief. Page2 of 5

¶3Mr. C. Prabakaran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, submitted that the petitioner's application dated 14.02.2026 would be considered by the first respondent, who is the competent authority, and appropriate orders would be passed on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as other interested parties/legal heirs, and conducting a thorough enquiry.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated

14.02.2026. The first respondent shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing prior notice to the petitioners as well as the counter-parties/legal heirs, and affording them an opportunity of a personal hearing.
