¶2The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, along with other accused, was illegally involved in selling banned lottery tickets online by creating a whats app group and uploading the lottery numbers in order to earn high profit. Hence, the complaint.

¶3The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the present case and that he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the Petitioner.

¶4The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and, upon instructions, submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

¶6From the submissions made by the Government Advocate (Crl.Side) it Page3 of 6 is seen that it is a case of online lottery tickets, and that the petitioner has no criminal antecedents, Hence, considering the period of incarceration since
