ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

¶2The case of the petitioner is that he submitted a representation to the respondents seeking to update and upload his name in the computerized revenue records (Computer Chitta / Patta) in respect of Survey Nos. 14/5, 14/7, and 14/8, comprised in Patta No. 76, situated at Veppanthattai Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District, on the basis of the Tahsildar's proceedings dated

29.09.2018 and 27.01.2026. However, the respondents have not considered the same till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for appropriate relief. Page2 of 5

¶3Mr. C. Prabakaran, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents, submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered by the 3rd respondent, who is the competent authority, and appropriate orders would be passed thereon, on merits within a period of six (6) weeks, after issuing notice to the parties concerned.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated Nil. The 3rd respondent shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties and affording them an opportunity of a personal hearing.
