Judgment

Order This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To forbear respondents herein from preventing the petitioner herein from serving as Time Keeper in Thirupathi depot of the respondents transport corporation without following due process of law and consider the service of the petitioner for all pensionary benefits and other service benefits from 19.05.1999."

¶2The petitioner was temporarily appointed as a Conductor in the respondent corporation on 04.05.1994. On 01.09.2005, the petitioner was made permanent and his services were regularised. The grievance of the petitioner is that on 21.06.2026, he was orally informed that he has been transferred to CMBT, Koyambedu without serving any order of transfer. Aggrieved thus the petitioner is before this Court.

¶3When the matter was taken up for hearing in the morning, the learned Standing Counsel for respondents was directed to get instructions as to whether there was any transfer orders issued to the petitioner and the matter was passed Page3 of 5 over. Thereafter, at 2.15 pm, the matter was called and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents submitted that there is no written order relating to the transfer.

¶4Therefore, considering the above fact the petitioner shall continue as a Time Keeper at Thirupathi depot till written transfer orders are issued to him. The petitioner has also sought to have the service made permanent from the year 1999, which is a later part of his prayer. As regards the same, the petitioner shall make representation to the respondents within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the same shall be considered and orders passed on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks therefrom.

¶5With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. 17-07-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order KAN Page4 of 5 To
