Judgment
Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.07.2025 and to disqualify the 2nd respondent in participating the tender.
¶2The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner had filed a representation dated 08.07.2025, before the 1st respondent, wherein it was stated that the 2nd respondent, who is from Karnataka, is not eligible to participate in the tender process and accordingly, requests to disqualify the 2nd respondent. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.
¶3In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the 1st respondent will always consider the tender applications, in accordance with law, subject to the eligibility of the individuals. Further, he would contend that the petitioner herein is no way connected with the tender process. Hence, he prays for dismissal of this petition.
¶4Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondents and also perused the entire materials available on record. Page3 of 5
¶5The petitioner made a representation dated 08.07.2025 before the 1st respondent, wherein it was stated that the 2nd respondent, who is from Karnataka, is not eligible to participate in the tender process and accordingly, requests to disqualify the 2nd respondent.
¶6On the other hand, as rightly contended by the 1st respondent, it is for the 1st respondent to consider the tender application filed by the 2nd respondent in accordance with law and the petitioner is no way connected with the present issue. Hence, he has no locus standi to file the representation dated 08.07.2025.
¶7In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed as devoid of merits. No cost. 19-08-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order nsa To
