ORDER This writ petition is filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's online Application dated 20.11.2025.
¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an online Application dated 20.11.2025 to conduct survey and fix the boundaries in respect of his property measuring 0.14.0 acres comprised in Survey No.397/5A, bearing Patta No.678, situated at Vellore Revenue District, Arakkonam Register District, Arakkonam Sub Registration Office, Mangattucheri Madura Village. However, no action has been taken on the said application till date. Hence, this writ petition.
¶3Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondents and submitted that the petitioner's online application dated 20.11.2025 will be considered within a period of six weeks.
¶4Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
¶5Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, Page3 of 4 directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's online application dated 20.11.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event any obstructions created by the third parties, the respondents 1 and 2 are at liberty to request for police protection before jurisdictional police. If any such request is made, the jurisdictional police is directed to provide an adequate police protection for conducting the survey.
¶6It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court.
¶7With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs. 24-07-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order VM Page4 of 4
