ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024.

¶2L earned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner has given a representation dated 23.07.2024 to reconvey the petitioner's land situated in No.3/6C at Ninnaikarai village, Chengalpet Taluk, Kanchipuram district totally to an extent of 1.95 1/2 acres of land, acquired under the Land Acquisition proceedings in Award No.3/83 dated 04.04.1983, passed by the fourth respondent by receiving the compensation amount with nominal interest form the petitioner. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondents, as on date. Hence, this petition.

¶3In reply, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024 will be disposed of by the respondents within a period of 8 weeks.

¶4Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the entire materials available on record. Page3 of 4

¶5In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
