ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from granting patta and effecting mutation of the revenue records in favour of the 7th respondent in respect of the Page2 of 5 land measuring an extent of 32 cents in Old S.F.No.699/3 (R.S.No.431/2A) of Alangiyam Village, Dharapuram Taluk, Tiruppur District, pending disposal of O.S.No.283 of 2022 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Dharapuram and O.S.No.605 of 2025 on the file of the III Additional District Court, Dharapuram, based on the petitioner's objection dated 25.07.2025.

¶2When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the 7th respondent submitted that the patta was already issued in favour of the 7th respondent.

¶3In view of the above submission, the relief sought in the present Writ Petition has become infructuous, as the patta has already been issued in favour of the 7th respondent. Consequently, no Writ of Mandamus, as prayed for, can be granted. However, it is always open to the petitioner to challenge the order granting patta before the competent forum, in the manner known to law. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
