¶3Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed a Criminal Appeal in Crl.A.No.2 of 2026 and the same was dismissed by the learned II Additional District and Sessions Judge, Arakkonam, Ranipet District, confirming the judgment dated 21.11.2025 passed in C.C. No.9 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Sholinghur, Ranipet District. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed the present Criminal Revision Case before this Court along with the instant criminal miscellaneous petition seeking suspension of sentence and bail.
¶4Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in the respondent's house, their jewels found missing and therefore, they gave a complaint against the petitioner. It is his contention that without any basis, allegations were levelled against the petitioner. He further contended that in the final report submitted by the prosecution, the offence under Section 380 of IPC alone stated. However, the trial Court passed conviction against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 380 and 454 of IPC, which is an erroneous one. Therefore, he prayed for suspending the sentence imposed on the petitioner and to grant bail.
¶5Heard the submissions made by learned counsel on either side and perused the entire records. Page4 of 5
