Judgment

ORDER This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2025.

¶2Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the house site comprised in Survey No.119/7, measuring

6.50 cents, situated at Kuppam Village, Thiruthani Taluk, Thiruvallur District, by virtue of a registered Sale Deed bearing Document No.1102 of 1993, and was also issued Patta No.1388. He further submits that in the original Field Measurement Book (FMB), the land was accurately recorded as 6.50 cents; however, it was subsequently, unilaterally, and arbitrarily altered to 6.17 cents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation dated

27.05.2025 to the revenue authorities requesting the restoration of the original extent of land as per the pre-UDR records. Since the said representation has not been considered to date, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present writ petition.

¶3Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 27.05.2025 will be considered within a period of six weeks. Page3 of 5

¶4Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

¶5Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated

27.05.2025, after issuing due notice and affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the aggrieved parties, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. 22-07-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order VM Page4 of 5 To
