ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.05.2026.

¶2The case of the petitioner is that he submitted a representation dated

26.05.2026 to the respondents, requesting them to grant patta for the land classified as "Grama Natham" comprised in S.No.232, which is under his possession, situated in Vallayambattu Village, Vaniyambadi Taluk, Tirupathur District, in the light of the Common Order dated 06.03.2026 passed by the Hon'ble Full Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD) Nos.19720 of 2017 and batch. However, the same has not been considered till date. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. Page3 of 5

¶3In response, Mr.A.Maheshnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 26.05.2026 would be considered by the 4th respondent, who is the competent authority, and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 4th respondent / Tahsildar, Vaniyambadi Taluk, to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.05.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and affording him an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
