Order This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the Respondents herein to inspect the said land as per the petitioner representation dated 13.06.2026 and to remove the entry showing that the said land as a residential portion and changed the said land as an agricultural land.

¶2The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the agricultural land measuring 17 cents in S.F. No. 222/1C1, situated at Nallipalayam Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, and has also obtained a joint patta for the said land. However, in the revenue records, the above said agricultural land has been erroneously classified as residential property. Consequently, the petitioner submitted a representation in the year 2025 requesting the removal of the entry classifying the said land as a residential portion. Respondents 1 and 2 also recommended that necessary action be taken in this regard. Following this, the petitioner submitted another representation dated 13.06.2026, seeking to delete the entry classifying the land as a residential portion and to reclassify it as agricultural land. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has approached this Court with the present Writ Petition. Page3 of 5

¶3In reply, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents would submit that the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2026 will be disposed of by the respondents 1 and 2 within a period of six weeks.

¶4Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

¶5In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2026 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
