ORDER This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.07.2023.

¶2The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner made a representation to restrain the officials attached to the respondents from converting the Agricultural Patta Land into burial Ground to an extent of 60 Cents comprised in Old S. No 54/9 (New Survey No 54/9B2) situated at uthamasolapuram village, salem district, without following due process of law. However, the same was not considered by the respondents till date. Hence, this petition.

¶3Today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent had assured before this Court that the respondents will not make any attempt to convert the Agricultural Patta Land into burial Ground without following due process of law.

¶4Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.

¶5The submission made by the learned Government Advocate is recorded. The respondents are directed not to convert the Agricultural Patta Land into burial Ground without following due process of law.
