¶2The respondent has filed a counter affidavit. In paragraph 5, it is stated as follows: "5. I further submit that the settlement records and Natham settlement records are not maintained in the Taluk Office, Tiruvallur. Pursuant to the order passed by this Hon'ble Court on

13.10.2025, the Collector, Chengalpattu District, was requested to furnish a copy of the correlation statement in respect of the survey numbers covered by this writ petition. The Collector, Chengalpattu District, by letter No.R.C.No.12018/2025/D2, dated 22.09.2025, has informed that no correlation register relating to Ayilacheri Village is available in the Collectorate, Chengalpattu. It is further stated that the petitioner had already been informed by the Collector, Tiruvallur District, by endorsement No.R.C.No.11791/2021/D1, dated 13.08.2025, regarding the non-availability of the required correlation register in respect of the survey numbers in question." ¶3It is further stated in the counter affidavit that, since the correlation register is not available, the respondent has prepared a tabulation statement showing the correlation of the survey numbers from the original Settlement Register to the Revision Survey and Resettlement Register (RSR), from the RSR to the UDR A-Register, and thereafter to the Natham Adangal. A copy of the said tabulation statement has also been furnished to the petitioner.

¶4In view of the above, nothing further survives for consideration in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.
