Judgment
ORDER The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking a direction to respondents 4 to 6 to consider their representation dated 29.11.2024, in which they have requested that a sewage connection be provided to their residential property.
¶2Respondents 7 to 9 have opposed the request on the ground that the sewage pipeline would have to pass through their land. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the seventh respondent had earlier filed O.S. No.124 of 2018 against the second petitioner and others for a permanent injunction, and the suit was decreed restraining the second petitioner and others from interfering with the peaceful possession of the suit property. However, the petitioners submit that their representation does not seek permission to lay the sewage pipeline through the lands belonging to respondents 7 to 9.
¶3In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents 4 to 6 to consider the petitioners' representation dated 29.11.2024 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that the petitioners shall not lay any sewage pipeline through the lands belonging to respondents 7 to 9 without their consent or otherwise in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
