ORDER (Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks direction to respondents 1 to 8 to demolish the unauthorised/illegal construction of Nataraj Auto Garage made by respondent No.9 in the Government natham poramboke land bearing Survey No.369/31 of SRO Nolambur, Ambattur Taluk, Chennai District.

¶2Respondent No.9 has filed counter-affidavit stating that notice dated 18.12.2025 under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 (for short, "the said Act") was issued, followed by issuance of an order under Section 6 of the said Act. It is stated that the order issued under Section 6 of the said Act has been challenged by respondent No.9 in an appeal filed under Section 10 of the said Act before the appropriate authority and the same is pending.

¶3In view of the fact that action has already been initiated against respondent No.9 and that the appeal filed by respondent No.9 under Section 10 of the said Act is pending consideration before the appropriate authority, no further orders need to be passed in this writ petition.
