ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2026, within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

¶2The case of the petitioner is that he submitted a representation dated

22.07.2026 to the first respondent requesting the issuance of appropriate orders on the Clarification Letter issued by the 3rd respondent dated ...08.2023 and for Page2 of 5 transfer of the ayan patta in his favour in terms of the proceedings of the Assistant Commissioner, Land Reforms, Coimbatore, dated 20.05.1996 and the consequent Deed of Assignment of surplus land dated 05.09.1996. However, the same has not been considered till date. Challenging the inaction on the part of the respondents, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

¶3Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government Counsel appearing for the official respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated

22.07.2026 would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on merits and in accordance with law.

¶4Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 and 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.07.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after issuing notice to the petitioner and affording him an opportunity of personal hearing, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
