Judgment
JUDGMENT This appeal has been preferred as against the order of acquittal passed in S.T.C.No.2936 of 2010, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, dated 12.06.2014, thereby dismissing the complaint and acquitted the respondent for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
¶2The learned counsel appearing for the appellant has been selected as Judicial Officer and therefore, this Court ordered notice to the appellant. Notice was duly served on the appellant and his name was also printed in the cause list, even then, no one appeared on behalf of the appellant either in person or through counsel. Therefore, it shows that the appellant has no interest to pursue this appeal. Hence, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed for default.
