O R D E R This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the third respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner and to grant patta to the petitioner with respect to the subject property.

¶2The learned Additional Government Pleader on written instructions received from the official respondents submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer had already cancelled the assignment patta that was granted earlier with respect to the subject property and presently, the request made by the petitioner is under consideration before the third respondent.

¶3In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the request made by the petitioner seeking for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property and appropriate orders shall be passed on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the third respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

¶4This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
