ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 4 to 6 to provide police protection to enable the hereditary trustees of Arulmigu Seruvalinga Ayyanar Thirukoil to take possession of the Annathana Koodam situated within the premises of Arulmighu Seruvalinga Ayyanar Thirukoil at Easanur, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District – 630 557, as per the report of the 3rd respondent dated 14.10.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

¶2Mr. M. Muthumanikkam, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for respondents 1 to 3. Mr. A.S. Abul Kalaam Azad, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), takes notice for respondents 4 to 6.

¶3The 3rd respondent has submitted a report with regard to the dispute between the hereditary trustees and one Kasi Rajan and Khasi. Based on the said report, the petitioner seeks to take possession of the Annathana Koodam.

¶4The 2nd respondent / Assistant Commissioner, HR & CE Department, is directed to consider and act upon the petitioner's representation in accordance with law. If the Assistant Commissioner requires police protection for implementing the same, he shall make a request to the police authorities.

¶5Upon such request being made, the 6th respondent shall provide necessary police protection to enable the Assistant Commissioner to discharge his duties.

¶6With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
