Judgment
ORDER The petitioner, working as Accounts Supervisor in TNEB Revenue Branch, Tiruchendur, has been transferred from Tiruchendur to Thoothukudi, by order dated 04.11.2025. The petitioner, with a grievance that the workload at Thoothukudi would be more and she would be driven to various other places apart from the office work, has filed this writ petition, challenging the order of transfer dated 04.11.2025.
¶2The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents-TANGEDCO submits that the petitioner is a resident of Thoothukudi and she is working at Tiruchender and now, on deputation for a period of six months, she has been posted at Thoothukudi only. He also clarified that it is only for office work and there is no necessity for any other camps and other duties.
¶3Considering the submissions of the learned Standing Counsel that the petitioner is a resident of Thoothukudi and she has been deputed only for a period of six months and that too for the purpose of office work, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned order of transfer.
¶4Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
