ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 191(2), 191(3), 296(b), 115(2), 329(4), 118(1) and 351(3) of the BNS Act, 2023, in Crime No. 13 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

¶2The case of the prosecution is that on 19.01.2026, the petitioners and his friends went to Jallikattu, at that time, a wordy quarrel arose between the petitioners and the defacto complainant, as a result of which, both of them attacked each other and caused injuries. Hence, the complaint.

¶3The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offences as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioners are ready and willing to abide by any conditions which may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

¶4The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the injured person has been discharged from the hospital and there is no previous case pending against the petitioners. However, he opposed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

¶5Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that it is a case in counter in Crime Nos.13 and 14 of 2026 and the injured person has been discharged from the hospital, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, subject to certain conditions.
