This petition is filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.761 of 2017, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivagangai.

¶2On the side of the petitioners, it is stated that a false case was foisted against the petitioner and the same is to be quashed.

¶3On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that since the defacto complainant was absent, the case in S.T.C.No.761 of 2017 was dismissed by the trial Court under Section 256 of Cr.P.C and the case was acquitted. A status report to that effected was filed.

¶4The status report from the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sivangai, reveals that S.T.C.No.761 of 2017 complaint was dismissed under Section 256 of Cr.P.C. and the accused were acquitted. Hence, this Petition is closed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
