Judgment

O R D E R This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a coordinator in the Dr.Kalaignar Karunanidhi Chair at the 2nd and 3rd respondent University based on the syndicate resolution dated 25.11.2024 as well as the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2024, 01.03.2025 and 25.07.2025, within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

¶2By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

¶3According to the petitioner, though his name was nominated as a coordinator in the Dr.Kalaignar Karunanidhi Chair at the 2nd and 3rd respondent University, based on the syndicate resolution dated

25.11.2024, till date the respondents have not take any action to appoint the petitioner as a Coordinator. The petitioner has already sent a representation on 25.07.2025 in this regard. Since the same was not considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

¶4The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the second respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2025.

¶5This Court heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

¶6On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the respondents 2 and 3 have convened a syndicate meeting and passed a resolution as Item No.23, wherein the name of petitioner has been nominated as Coordinator. However, till date the same was not implemented. Hence, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

¶7With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
