¶2Considering the nature of the relief sought for, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

¶3The case of the prosecution is that on 17.01.2026, when the de-facto complainant and his friend came by two wheeler from Varagur to Mettupatti to purchase mutton, one person who came by cycle on the opposite side in a rash and negligent manner, caused a rash contact with his right eye for which the de-facto complainant had already undergone surgery. ¶5Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court hereby direct the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for Scheduled Castes and scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Karur, to issue prior notice to the de facto complainant and thereafter to consider the bail application of the petitioner on the same day of his surrender before that Court in connection with Crime No.28 of 2026 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.
