O R D E R This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 22.12.2025 and 26.12.2025 and pass appropriate orders by effecting subdivision of the property comprised in Survey No. 4651/2A, situated at Thenkarai, Periyakulam Town, Theni District and consequently to issue a patta in her name in respect of the said property.
¶2With the consent of the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 15.07.2025, an Page No. 2 of 5 enquiry was conducted and the patta was restored to the original patta holder by proceedings dated 27.09.2025.
¶4Thereafter, the petitioner submitted an application dated
11.12.2025 seeking subdivision and issuance of patta in her name. The said application is still pending consideration. The petitioner further submitted representations dated 22.12.2025 and 26.12.2025 requesting grant of patta. However, no action has been taken till date. Therefore, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition.
¶5The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner's representations would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed by the second respondent within a period of sixteen weeks.
¶6Recording the above submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 22.12.2025 and 26.12.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks from Page No. 3 of 5 the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The representation shall be disposed of after conducting an enquiry.
