This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to issue chitta, Adangal and the statement in agricultural loan application form in respect of the agricultural lands of the petitioner in Survey Nos.307/2, 308/2, 310/1 and 311/3A at Pulimankompai Village, Tharmathupatti Post, Theni District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.12.2020 within the time stipulated by this Court.

3.It is clear from the above report that the petitioner is seeking for Chitta, Adangal copy and also statement of Village Administrative Officer with respect to the properties in survey Nos.307/2, 308/2, 310/1 and 311/3A at Pulimankompai Village, Tharmathupatti Post, Theni District.

4.The details have been furnished to the petitioner with respect to Survey Nos.307/2, 308/2 and 311/3A. Insofar as Survey No.310/1 is concerned, it measures an extent of 1.50 acres. In this, 50 cents was already gifted in favour of the Governor of Tamil Nadu through a gift deed dated

19.08.1987, registered as document No.1218/1987. Hence, according to the report, the petitioner is entitled only for one acre in Survey No.310/1. Therefore, the petitioner has been informed that Adangal cannot be given to the petitioner with respect to the property to the entire extent of 1.50 acres in Survey No.310/1. The report also states that except Survey No.310/1, for all the other properties, whenever the petitioner is seeking for Adangal, the same is being furnished to the petitioner.

5.In light of the above stand that has been taken by the third respondent, it is for the petitioner to workout his remedy insofar as the balance extent of 50 cents in Survey No.310/1, which has been gifted in the year 1987 itself. There shall be a direction to the third respondent to convey the above report to the petitioner by means of an order within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in accordance with law.

6.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
