Sathiyapriya v. The Sub Inspector of Police

ORDER This petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.5 of 2020 dated

14.02.2020 pending on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2.On the side of the petitioner, it is stated that the amount was paid to the defacto complainant and the matter was settled.

3.On the side of the prosecution, it is stated that the FIR was closed as 'mistake of fact' on 19.02.2021 and that notice was also served on the defacto complainant.

4.In view of the aforesaid submissions, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
