ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth respondent to order sub division and issue separate house site patta in the name of the petitioner's father with regard to the land comprised in Survey No.195/1 (old Survey No.295/5D), Door No.6/17, Uppliappan Kovil North Veethi, measuring a total extent of 2369 square feet, Sannapuram Revenue Circle, Thirunageswaram, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District, by considering petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2025.

¶2By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

¶3The grievance of the petitioner is that a representation dated 13.09.2025 was submitted seeking subdivision and issuance of a separate house site patta in the name of the petitioner's father in respect of the property comprised in Survey No.195/1 (Old Survey No.295/5D), measuring a total extent of 2369 square feet, bearing Door No.6/17, situated at Uppliappan Kovil North Veethi, Sannapuram Revenue Circle, Thirunageswaram, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner has been constrained to file the present Writ Petition seeking the relief stated supra.

¶4The learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent Temple submitted that several persons have encroached upon the Temple's land and have been adopting the modus operandi of filing writ petitions one after another. It is further submitted that several writ petitions filed earlier have already been dismissed.

¶5Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

¶6Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and keeping in view the fact that a representation has been made, the same can be directed to be considered. Accordingly, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.09.2025, taking into account the background of the case, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to any other persons who may be affected by such decision, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
