ORDER The above writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondent to forbear them from digging any pits, erecting poles and drawing high tension wires in petitioner's land admeasuring Hec 0.13.0 in Survey No.688/2, Hec 0.12.5 in Survey No.688/3, Hec 0.32.0 in Survey No.689/1, Hec 0.02.0 in Survey No.689/2 and Hec 0.35.5 in Survey No.689/3 at Eruvadi Part I Village Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 22.02.2020.

¶2It is informed by the learned counsel for the respondents that the entire route for laying the poles have already been earmarked and it is not possible to realign the route. He would further submit that the respondents are ready to pay fair compensation to the petitioner.

¶3The learned counsel for the petitioner accepts the above suggestion.

¶4In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to fix the fair price in respect of the portion of the petitioner's land, in which they propose to dig pits for erecting poles and drawing high tension wires and thereafter, the work shall be commenced. The said exercise shall be concluded within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
