Premalatha v. The Inspector of Police

ORDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records pertaining to the First Information Report in Crime No.342 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same as illegal as against the petitioner.

¶2When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that they have already laid the final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai, through E-filing on 14.02.2023.

¶3Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the concerned Judicial Magistrate to process the final report as per rule and Liberty is open to the petitioners to seek appropriate remedy before the concerned Court, if they are still aggrieved by the Final Report. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
