¶4The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the third respondent submitted that appropriate arrangements would be made for providing adequate police protection to prevent any untoward incident during the conduct of the festival.

¶5Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Court directs the third respondent to provide sufficient police protection for the peaceful conduct of the Maha Sivarathiri festival from 15.02.2026 to 17.02.2026.
