The petitioner/A4, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 23.12.2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 392 r/w.397 of IPC in crime No.2005 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner herein restrained the defacto complainant at knife point and robbed a sum of Rs.2,000/- from the defacto complainant, hence the case.

¶3Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

¶4It is seen that petitioner is a habitual offender and against him several cases are pending. Further the petitioner hails from Rajasthan if he is released on bail, he will abscond, hence this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. CRLeOP(MD).eNo.5121eofe2023
