O R D E R Heard the learned counsel on either side.

¶2The petitioner retired as Senior Inspector of Co-operative Societies, Thoothukudi, on 29.02.2018. He took treatment for diabetic related ailments and eventually suffered amputation. The petitioner had incurred a sum of Rs.42,859/-. He sought reimbursement. The empowered committee had permitted the petitioner's case should be considered as per the Medical Attendance Rules. 3 W.P.(MD)NO.5334 OF 2023

¶3The petitioner is permitted to re-submit the papers before the fifth respondent. The fifth respondent shall process the same and forward it to the first respondent. The first respondent shall quantify the eligible amount and pay the same to the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands allowed accordingly. No costs.
