Natarajan v. The Inspector of Police

ORDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records pertaining to the impugned FIR in Crime No.295 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same as against this petitioner.

¶2When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation in Crime No.295 of 2017 has been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate-II, Thoothukkudi District and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.214 of 2022.

¶3Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioners is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised.
