Aandavar v. The Sub Inspector of Police

ORDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records in the file of respondent police in Crime No.05 of 2022 dated 07.01.2022 and quash the same.

¶2When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation in Crime No.05 of 2022 has been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.354 of 2022.

¶3Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised.
