Judgment

ORDER [Order of the Court was made by R.SURESH KUMAR, J.] These Contempt Petitions have been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order passed by this Court dated 31.08.2020 made in WA(MD) No.647 and 648 of 2020.

¶2When these contempt petitions came up for hearing in the earlier occasion, though some orders have been produced before this Court by the learned Additional Government Pleader stating that the orders of this Court has been complied with, after having gone through the same, we were of the view that the order of this Court has not been fully complied with, as the proposal for approval of the teachers appointment concerned was not made from the date of initial appointment from 01.02.2002 till 17.06.2004. Therefore, when these contempt petitions came up for hearing on

29.03.2023, we passed the following order: "Despite our order dated 21.03.2023, the first respondent has passed an order on 28.03.2023 as a revised order, where, what has been passed earlier, dated 21.03.2023 has been again reiterated, that means only salary to the petitioners/teachers for the period between 01.02.2002 till

17.06.2004 was given, but no orders with regard to approval of their initial appointment has been made despite the same specifically was indicated in our order dated 21.03.2023. When this was pointed out, the learned Additional Government Pleader seeks time till 03.04.2023 to pass further revised order undertaking the approval to be given to the petitioners/teachers from their date of initial appointment including salary with all service benefits."

¶3Pursuant to which, today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the orders of this Court has been fully complied with and in this regard, the District Educational Officer, Valliyoor, Tirunelveli District by proceedings dated in NA.Ka.No.5558/A3/2022 dated 31.03.2023, has passed separate orders in respect of these two contempt petitions, where, inter-alia, is has been stated as follows: ",e;epiyapy;
