Judgment

O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the impugned notice dated 02.06.2020, wherein the first respondent has issued notice under section 107 of Cr.P.C as against the petitioners to execute bond for maintaining peace.

¶2According to the petitioners the property belongs to them and they have only erected tin sheets and the first respondent has wrongly issued notice to the petitioners.

¶3The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents contended that the matter pertains to the year 2020 and the said notice was also issued only for a period of one year and now one year time period was also lapsed and thereby nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

¶4In view of the above submissions and also considering the fact that already one year time period was lapsed, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
