Krishnapillai @ Appachan v. The Inspector of Police

ORDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to call for the records pertaining to the Crime No.465 of 2020 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.

¶2When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation in Crime No.465 of 2020 has been completed and the final report was filed before the Judicial Magistrate-I, Kuzhithurai and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.260 of 2022.

¶3Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioners is at liberty to challenge the charge sheet, if so advised. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
