ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 397 of IPC in Crime No.710 of 2019 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution as per the de-facto complainant, is that on 02.05.2019 when the defacto complainant was parking his two wheeler in front of his house, some unknown persons threatened the defacto complainant and his wife and snatched the gold chain weighing 9 sovereigns. Hence, the complaint.

¶3Heard both side and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. CRL OP(MD). No.6742 of 2023

¶4It is seen that the petitioner is arrayed as A2. The first accused used to snatch chain from the victims and hand over the same to the petitioner. Thereafter the petitioner used to pledge the same. The son of the petitioner is involved in more than 50 cases throughout Tamil Nadu and the petitioner is also having five previous cases, therefore custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case.
