ORDER The petitioner challenges the Resolution Nos.7 to 86 passed on

¶2The primary ground on which the resolutions are challenged before this Court is that 6 days prior notice was not provided before convening the meeting as stipulated under Rule 156(2) of the Tamilnadu Local Bodies Rules, 2023 which clearly mandates 6 days prior notice. ¶4Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side

¶5In light of the alternative remedy provided under Section 42 of the Act, 1998, the present Writ Petition is not entertainable and accordingly, is disposed of preserving liberty to the petitioner to seek cancellation of the impugned resolution under Section 42 of the Tamilnadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998.

¶6There shall be no orders as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
