O R D E R Heard the learned counsel on either side. The grievance projected by the petitioner is likely to be redressed shortly. The second respondent has stated before this Court that on account of the revision of seniority under the post of Assistant, the petitioner's rank has been fixed at 478, whereas that of the third respondent has been fixed at 485. Since the third respondent was promoted as Junior Water Analyst in the year 2017-18, the petitioner will be given retrospective promotion on par with her junior by giving the petitioner the monetary effect from the date of joining duty that is with effect from 13.06.2022.

¶3In the light of the submission made by the second respondent before this Court, appropriate proceedings will be issued within a period 3 W.P.(MD)NO.8660 OF 2023 of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
