Judgment

O RDER

This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd Respondent not to harass the Petitioner under the guise of the enquiry by compelling the petitioner to comply the demands of the de-facto Complainant Rajan and Thangavel and not to conduct Katta Panchayat by interfering into civil dispute.

¶2Now the grievance of the petitioner is that already the petitioner is facing investigation in Crime No.34 of 2021, under Sections 465, 468, 471, 420 and 120(b) IPC by the Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Ramanathapuram. Another complaint has been given by some other person, upon which, the second respondent is making enquiry and harrasing the petitioner.

¶3The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Enock Philp, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, it was found that already investigation is under way in Crime No.34 of 2021 and there was some sort of understanding between the parties in the above said enquiry itself. Based upon the above said enquiry made by the Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Ramanathapuram, the complaint given by the above said private party has been closed on 02.03.2023 with direction to the parties to follow the above said undertaking that was given the petitioner before the concerned Authority.

¶4Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this matter. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
