Arockiyasami v. The Deputy Superintendent of Police

O R D E R This Writ Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the Respondents to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the "Aadal – Padal" dance Programme on 25.04.2023 in pursuant to the "Punitha Sebasthiyar Aalaya Thiruvizha" at "Punitha Sebasthiyar Aalayam", situated at M.Alampatti, Mekkudy, Nagamangalam Post, Trichirappalli District, by considering the Petitioner's representation dated 11.04.2023.

¶2The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents made objections stating that if the Adal Padal Programme is conducted in the said village, it will create a law and order problem.

¶3In view of the said objection made by the learend Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the respondents police are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 11.04.2023 on its own merits immediatly. So that the petitioner can work out his remedy, if he is aggrieved.

¶4This Writ Peition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
