Judgment

O R D E R [Order of the Court was made by R.SUBRAMANIAN, J.] Mr.K.R.Laxman, learned counsel, takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.M.Prakash, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the second respondent.

¶2The petitioner challenges the notification issued by the Advocates Association, Pudukkottai, for conduct of election.

¶3It is the claim of the petitioner that there is no proper voters list and the members have not exercised their option under One Bar One Vote scheme.

¶4Learned counsel appearing for the first respondent would submit that the members have exercised their option and 466 members have submitted certificate of practice.

¶5In view of the above and the fact that the election process has already begun, we do not think that we can entertain this writ petition at this stage. The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the election in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
