O R D E R This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance Writ of Mandamus, directing the 6th respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and all devotees coming to the temple and to its properties of Arulmigu Mazhai Muthumariyamman Kovil situated in Vedhiyankudi Village, Idaiyathur Post, Manamelkudi Taluk, Pudukottai.

2.Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents.

3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 08.04.2023, a murder took place in such a type of event in Keeranur Sub Division. Therefore, there shall be a direction to the respondents to reject the petitioner's representation without any reference to this Court.

4.With the above directions, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
