Judgment
ORDER Heard the learned counsel on either side.
¶2The petitioner retired as senior manager in the respondent bank. He retired on 31.03.2011. The bank introduced the scheme of paying pension only in the year 2019. According to the petitioner, since he had acquired certain qualifications, he should be paid what is known as professional qualification allowance. The petitioner has given representation on 26.01.2023 for paying arrears from 01.11.2006 to
31.03.2011. It is his further contention that this allowance should be included in the retirement benefits and there must be a revised fixation of his pension as well as disbursement.
¶3The first respondent is directed to pass order on the petitioner's representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.
¶4The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
