Judgment
ORDER This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 5 to conduct enquiry, based on the petitioner's representation dated 27.03.2026 and take necessary action against respondents 6 to 10 for excommunicating the petitioner and the petitioner's family members by not permitting us to enter into the temple and also not allowing them to worship the god and not receiving the tax from them and not allowing to for the sacrifice of goads for the deity.
¶2When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate placed before me the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.Aa2/1443/2026 dated 03.04.2026, where compromise has been arrived at between the petitioner as well as private respondents, who have given an undertaking that they will not excommunicate the petitioner and his family and will facilitate their participation in the temple festival.
¶3Recording the above, this writ petition stands disposed of. However, since civil cases cases are pending, it is made clear that no one should seek for first honour during the conduct of the temple festival.
