Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No. 06/2023 on the file of the Respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1 who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 294(b), 323,498(A) and 506(i) of I.P.C., in Crime No.6 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

¶2The case of the prosecution is that the marriage between the petitioner and the defacto complainant was solemnized on

09.09.2021 and during marriage the parents and relatives of the petitioner demanded dowry including gold, silver articles and household accessories and accordingly 25 sovereigns of gold jewels, house hold articles worth about Rs. 15 lakhs and Rs.5 lakhs cash was given as dowry. Thereafter the family members of the petitioner demanded more dowry and harassed her, hence the case. CRL OP(MD). No.7764 of 2023

¶3Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. It is reported that three previous cases are pending against the petitioner.

¶4Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is having three previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticiaptory bail to the petitioner.
