O R D E R This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining willful disobedience of the respondents in complying the order, dated

21.09.2020, passed in W.P.(MD)No.24807 of 2018 in true letter and spirit.

¶2On considering all the affidavits filed by the respondents on 18.07.2023, this Court is of the prima facie opinion that the respondents have wilfully disobeyed the order of this Court and accordingly, ordered statutory notice.

¶3In compliance of the statutory notice, the respondents are present before this Court today.

¶4An additional affidavit is filed on behalf of the respondents wherein, it is stated that the District Educational Officer (Elementary Education), Musiri, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 877/A3/2022, dated 04.08.2023 refixed the salary of the petitioner on par with his junior subject to the result of pending Writ Appeal and the Block Educational Officer, Thuraiyur, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 76/A1/2023, dated 04.08.2023 have passed the consequential order. Pursuant to the said proceedings monetary benefits were also disbursed to the petitioner on 14.08.2023.

¶5The learned counsel also accepted the issuance of the proceedings and disbursement of monetary benefits to the petitioner.

¶6Under these circumstances, in our considered opinion, continuation of this Contempt proceedings are not desirable and accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed.
